Why Onslow F.C.

We make sport fun for children. We love football. The kids love football.

By the time our young footballers have matured into teenagers they have all  become  great ambassadors for the sport, for our community and a credit to the club. We aim to enjoy every training session and every match. Our year group teams have a sense of camaraderie and team spirit that they will take with them into all aspects of their lives at school.

How We Operate

We meet every week for training sessions and matches through the football season.

We have year-group teams aligned to each school year. Younger teams also meet to play non-competitive football against local clubs. From under 8’s through to under 18’s we tend to play in competitive football leagues.

We train at Onslow Recreation Ground and/or Surrey Sports Park and play local teams in both Surrey Primary League (SPL) and South Surrey Youth League (SSYL)

We take safety and child protection seriously and comply with FA safeguarding codes of conduct, our coaches are DBS Checked.

What We Do

We are a grass-roots football club, set up for children and teenagers to explore and enjoy playing football at all levels. We get a buzz out of keeping fit, learning new football skills and improving our team work during training sessions. The highlight is playing against other local teams and, when are footballers are old enough, we usually play in competitive leagues.

We grow, we develop, we enjoy out sport, we meet and socialise, we have a lot of fun and we go from strength to strength each year.
